I went through a major depressive episode last year. Months just feeling down about my art and just the state of things. There was a discussion I had about AI and what it means for art. A discussion/disagreement I had left me feeling dejected. My spirit cracked a bit. I don’t have complete hate for AI generated art; it’s a fun tool, but there is the feeling that eventually I can’t keep up and would just get buried under ai ‘creators’. Patreon last year had a payment processor change and completely fucked up the change. I've lost quite a bit of support from the hell and with my depressive episode. Yeah things are looking very down. I had some bad health news once again in december. Gumroad had a spat with payment processors and they've kicked off NSFW content from their website. I don't use gumroad for my art, but this is still horseshit. Patreon added a rule that fictional characters must consent. My characters all consent, but... they're fictional, they can't consent because
